Connecting medical devices
At Healthcare Estates 2026, SSG will showcase Acelo, its next-generation Nurse Call and clinical alert system, designed to support hospitals as their technology and infrastructure evolve.
Acelo is HTM 08-03 compliant and built on a next-generation electronics platform with Full IP to the bed. Through a dedicated transfer interface, hospitals can connect Acelo to their existing Nurse Call system and upgrade at their own pace.
As part of the wider SSG ecosystem, itemedical brings specialist expertise in medical device integration, medical data interoperability and clinical alarm management.
Our vendor-neutral software connects medical devices with the EPR and other hospital systems, making device data available across the clinical environment. It also supports smarter alarm workflows by filtering, prioritising and routing relevant medical device alarms to the right person at the right time.
Together, this creates a more connected clinical infrastructure in which Nurse Call, medical devices, clinical data and alarm workflows work together rather than operating as separate systems.
Emily Baker from itemedical will be joining the SSG team at Healthcare Estates.
