Medical device integration within Acelo

At HETT 2026, SSG will launch Acelo, its next-generation digital ecosystem for Nurse Call, clinical alerts and connected care.

Within Acelo, SSG works with specialist technology partners to connect clinical systems and workflows. For medical device integration, itemedical brings its expertise in connecting medical devices, medical data and clinical alarms.By integrating medical devices with the EPR and other hospital systems, patient data is transferred directly into the clinical record. This reduces manual documentation, improves data accuracy and gives clinical teams better access to medical device data.

At the same time, itemedical supports smarter clinical alarm management by filtering, prioritising and routing relevant alarms to the right person at the right time. This reduces unnecessary interruptions and supports faster clinical response and more efficient workflows.

Together, these capabilities connect medical devices with Nurse Call, clinical communication platforms and the wider hospital ecosystem.

Emily Baker from itemedical will be joining the SSG team at HETT.
