Since our founding in 2000, we have been developing innovative medical software that helps healthcare professionals deliver safe and efficient patient care. In recent years, our focus has increasingly expanded towards international growth, with the UK as our primary growth market.
Our partnership with SSG provides the opportunity to accelerate that growth while continuing to invest in the development of our solutions.
About SSG
Static Systems Group (SSG) is a UK-based specialist in smart communication and alarm management solutions for healthcare. For more than 60 years, SSG has been helping healthcare organisations improve communication, safety and workflow efficiency through integrated nurse call, alarm and software solutions.
From its headquarters in Wombourne, near Wolverhampton, SSG designs and manufactures its solutions in-house. Combining British engineering expertise with a commitment to quality, reliability and long-term partnerships, SSG has built a strong position in the UK healthcare market and continues to expand internationally.
A strategic step
In 2025, itemedical and SSG entered into a strategic partnership. It quickly became clear that our organisations complement each other exceptionally well. From a technology, vision, and culture perspective, we share the same ambition: supporting healthcare organisations with innovative solutions that contribute to better clinical processes and safer care environments.
SSG is investing heavily in the digital nurse call ecosystem and the digitalisation of hospitals, and itemedical’s software is a valuable addition to that strategy. At the same time, SSG provides access to the expertise, scale, and market presence needed to further accelerate our international growth.

Itemedical will continue to operate as an independent business unit within SSG, under the same name, with the same management team and the same strategy. Our vendor-neutral approach will remain unchanged. We will continue to support healthcare organisations with solutions that bring together data and alarms from a wide range of medical devices and systems. As part of the SSG digital nurse call ecosystem, we are strengthening our position while maintaining the same open integration strategy that our customers know and trust.
